Mini Treat Bags

treat bag

Here in the UK it is the school summer holidays. it has been unusually hot and I do not cope very well. But so far we have been on a train journey and gone on a picnic.  The kids are loving the fact that they can spend all their time outdoors. Today’s post is a cute mini treat bag cased from Dawn Griffith. It is quick and easy to make. I used both Magnolia Lane and Bird Ballad DSP for these bags.

Cardstock 7″ x 2″
Designer Series Paper (DSP) 6 1/2″ x 1 1/2″

Score your cardstock on the long side at 3″ and 4″ .

Using the Scalloped tag topper punch, punch either end of your cardstock.
Burnish your score lines.

Score the DSP on the long side at 2″, 3″, 5″ and 6″.
Fold and gently burnish your score lines.
On the small tab add some tear and tape.
Fold in and attach to the other end of your DSP to make a sleeve.
Slide your sleeve over the cardstock and secure in place with some glue dots.

Finish off by closing with some ribbon.
