Today’s project is three projects using one of the stamp sets in our beginners brochure, Magnolia blooms. It shows how one set can be used by a beginner crafter, a casual crafter and an avid crafter. #simplestamping
Beginner
Card Base – Thick Whisper White 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded at 4 1/8″
Layer 1- Whisper White – 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
C6 Envelope
Memento Black Ink Pad
Clear Block D
Stampin Blends or watercolour pencils
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Stamp the large magnolia flower and the sentiment on the layer cardstock.
Stamp the large magnolia flower on the front bottom left-hand side of the envelope.
Stamp the magnolia bud on the inside of the card.
Colour the flower with Stampin’ Blends or watercolour pencils.
Affix the layer to the front of your card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Casual Crafter
Card Base – Thick Whisper White 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded at 4 1/8″
Layer 1 – Magnolia lane Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2 – Petal Pink Cardstock 5 1/8″ x 3 3/8″
Scrap of Whisper White Cardstock
C6 Envelope
Memento Black Ink Pad
Clear Block D
Stampin Blends or watercolour pencils
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Pearl Basic Jewels
Stamp the large magnolia flower on the piece of scrap cardstock and also on the front of the envelope.
Stamp the Magnolia bud on the back flap of your envelope and on the inside of your card.
Stamp your sentiment on the right-hand side in the centre of your Petal Pink Cardstock.
Colour the magnolia with your blends or watercolour pencils and fussy cut it out.
We can bow assemble our card.
Layer the DSP and the Petal Pink cardstock on your card and attach the Magnolia with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finish off with some Basic jewels pearls
Avid Crafter
Card Base – Thick Whisper White 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded at 4 1/8″
Layer 1 – 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Petal Pink Cardstock 4″ x 2″
Scrap of Whisper White Cardstock
C6 Envelope
Memento Black Ink Pad
Clear Block D
Stampin Blends or watercolour pencils
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Pearl Basic Jewels
Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
Stamp the large magnolia flower on the piece of scrap cardstock and also on the front of the envelope.
Stamp the magnolia bud on the inside of the card.
Stamp the magnolia bud on the inside of the card.
Colour the magnolia on the piece of scrap and fussy cut it out.
Punch each end the piece of Pink Cardstock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
Stamp your sentiment on the right-hand side of your tag.
Thread the ribbon through each end of the pink cardstock and attach to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals, securing the ribbon to the back of the DSP
Glue the DSP to the front of the card.
Add the Magnolia to the right-hand side of the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finish off with some basic pearls.
As you can see with one stamp set we can make a variety of different level cards. Over the next few weeks I will try to bring you some more of these, although not for the next few posts as I am on holiday 🙂
